Walk Across Fire for MND

With the world premiere of I AM BREATHING just around the corner, we were delighted to discover that MND Scotland are hosting a daring fundraiser on the very same day in Glasgow.

For all our Scottish supporters who can't make the film's launch in Amsterdam on 17 November, we recommend MND Scotland's Firewalk fundraising event in the Hilton Garden Hotel in Glasgow from 7pm onwards. If you're feeling brave and want to raise some much-needed funding for MND then you can take part in "the world's shortest sponsored walk" across 20 feet of burning wood embers. Sign up here.

Neil Platt had many reasons for wanting this film to be made, and one of them was to continue to raise awareness and funding. On the blog that he wrote in the last months of his life he said:

"If I am to turn this mild spring breeze of a campaign into the wind that uprooted trees and demolished houses, I am really going to need your help. Anybody you know, anything you can do!"
